The Tucson Agenda is days away from launching and we’re amazed at the early support you all have shown us, both through subscriptions and donations. We can’t thank you enough!
We’re looking forward to dropping our first edition Tuesday and showing you what we’re all about.
To our free subscribers, we hope you’ll consider upgrading to support us once you see what we have to offer.
And if you’re already a paid subscriber, check your inboxes Monday for a special pre-launch podcast with Caitlin, Curt and Hank.
But before that happens, we’re hoping to hit a milestone.
We’re less than two-dozen subscribers away from 1,000 and we’d love to get there before our launch.
So please tell your friends, family and coworkers about the Tucson Agenda. Please share our Fourth of July launch announcement on social media ahead of the holiday weekend. And forward this email to anyone who wants local news delivered right to their inbox.
By now, you also know that we don’t have any wealthy funders, advances from Substack or outside investors. We’re a grassroots journalism startup relying on you to support us by paying for your subscriptions and donating to get us off the ground.
Caitlin and Curt have some great stories in the works, but we need to be able to support a two-person operation, and focus on journalism rather than fundraising.
If you have a few extra bucks to spare, it would go a long way to covering startup costs and helping us grow towards sustainability.
It’s clear Tucson supports local journalism, and we love knowing that there’s such an appetite for this type of publication.
Thank you again so much for all the love you’ve shown us in these weeks leading up to our launch.
See you soon!
