Ciscomani's act of ducking out the back door to evade protesters is reminiscent of Ruben Gallego doing exactly the same thing. These guys sell themselves to us as heroes ( gallego has a military background) but in reality they are cowards. Its a bipartisan defect, unfortunately.
I’m a little skeptical of the 23,000 number. Seemed more like 10k to me. I wish it had been better planned and managed (no idea why they wouldn’t let people come in as soon as they started lining up and it should have started earlier). I also noticed AOC didn’t update her speech from Tempe and said we should vote out Schweikert instead of Ciscomani. But it was nice to see so many people out (sans the people cutting in line) and getting inspired to do something.
I appreciate the comprehensive reporting. We really do need to be better informed.
So, the recent gatherings for Bernie and AOC have been impressive. How do we turn that into midterm victories and retaking Congress?
