Those three options alone would likely eliminate the budget deficit, plus they wouldn’t be felt as a tax for many Tucsonans.

Once the County Administrator releases a proposed budget (expected next month) the Supervisors will likely make adjustments (also next month) and the tax rate will be set based on the final budget (likely 5 weeks from now.)

What is the process for increasing property taxes? Could the county implement a Land Value Tax unilaterally?
