Trump/Musk's cuts to the US Forest Service [USFS] have been getting some national media attention. Since the USFS has a pretty big footprint around Tucson (and in Southern AZ), I suggest that "Tucson Agenda" look into the local effects--e.g., the potential increase in wildfire risk (see the recent and ongoing "New York Times" article on the cuts and their implications).

When NY’s bill to make themselves the “Ayyyyy, I’m walkin’ ‘ere State” failed, it was the end of NY’s tourism golden age.

Oops sorry! Cont’d: mean a possible deportation like the one that you reported on that “ disappeared” a Venezuelan woman and two children for three days and left them stranded on the street in Villahermosa Mexico. Understanding that our supervisors do not control state troopers, maybe they could take the lead in asking WHY our state taxes go to support law enforcement of any kind to a) stop people for going too slow and b) collaborate in the deportation of such dangerous criminals as women selling empanadas in a parking lot?
